An amendment to the Telecommunications Act (TKG) now also enables identification for prepaid contracts via the Nect app. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-890c08b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"890c08b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWith the implementation of the Nect ID, Telekom already expanded its cooperation with Nect in July of this year. As a digital ID card, the Nect ID enables the reuse of the digital identity within the Nect app. Anyone who has identified themselves once with Nect Selfie-Ident can use the automatically created Nect ID for further identifications with Telekom or other companies in the Nect partner network without having to go through the entire process again. This increases efficiency and user-friendliness for companies and their customers many times over \u2013 while maintaining the same level of security, of course.   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-573641e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"573641e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe cooperation between Nect and Telekom has now been supplemented by a further use case: fully automated identification for the conclusion of prepaid contracts. This is made possible by the entry into force of the new decree on identification procedures in accordance with Section 172 (2) sentence 3 TKG (new version) (previously Section 111 (1) sentence 4 TKG). Nect participated in the drafting of the statement by the industry association Bitkom and the VATM (Association of Telecommunications and Value-Added Service Providers) on the draft decree submitted to the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), thus playing a key role in the amendment of the TKG.  \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e4ef44 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2e4ef44\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTim G\u00f6tzen, Vice President Compliance &#038; Risk Management at Telekom Deutschland GmbH, sees significant added value in the expansion of the cooperation: \u201cWe have been using Selfie-Ident successfully for around a year and have already identified more than 100,000 customers. Due to the amendment of the implementation decree of the Telecommunications Act, we can now also use Nect&#8217;s fully automated solution for the conclusion of prepaid contracts. The additional feature, the Nect ID, also ensures that our customers can identify themselves for various services in a simple way. This fulfills our claim to the best possible user experience.
