Reporting Security Vulnerabilities

At Nect, we take the security of our systems and data very seriously. Contributions from security researchers and the community help us ensure the best possible protection for our users and customers.

If you wish to examine the Nect Ident process for vulnerabilities, you will need permission granted by us for this purpose. To obtain permission, please contact us at spb@nect.com. Permissions are granted after careful review as part of a selection process.

Please note that forging identities and identification documents can lead to legal consequences. To best protect you, our partners, and our users, close consultation with us is essential.

If you discover a security vulnerability, we kindly ask you to report it to us in a responsible manner (Responsible Disclosure). We ask you to:

  • submit a detailed description of the security vulnerability, including information about the affected component, the potential impact, and all steps for reproduction.

  • refrain from publishing the vulnerability until we have had a reasonable amount of time to address the issue.
