New product: Nect Sign enables legally binding digital signatures
Effective immediately, Hamburg-based Nect GmbH is expanding its offering with Nect Sign for a qualified electronic signature (Qualified Electronic Signature, QES). With this solution, users can quickly and easily sign contracts, powers of attorney and other documents with strict legal formal requirements via the app. Before the digital signature, secure digital identification is required. That is why the Nect Wallet combines both steps with the integration of Nect Sign and the successful identification solution Nect Ident: fast and secure identification and the legally binding signature.

Nect wins its first customer in Poland with Gdansk-based crypto player
Nect GmbH, provider of the top-rated app for digital identity verification, recently ventured into the Polish market. Now the Hamburg-based company has won its first customer in the neighbouring country: Kanga Exchange, based in Gdansk, has been operating a cryptocurrency exchange, a wallet app for crypto assets, and digital and stationary exchange offices for cryptocurrencies since 2018. A payment gateway, a proof-of-stake system, and an IEO platform are also part of the Polish company’s portfolio.
Over four million users use Nect Wallet as a digital ID
More than four million end users have had their identity confirmed by March 3, 2022, using the
Selfie-Ident from the Hamburg-based company Nect to obtain fast and
secure access to digital services, for example from their insurance company, their
health insurance fund, or their telephone provider. Once verified, the
ID document used is automatically stored as a digital identity in the Nect Wallet
and can be reused for further processes within seconds
. This allows companies to offer their customers uncomplicated and fast
access to their services.
